Maritza Flores-Travanti has extensive experience with the Internal Revenue Service, serving since July 1990 in various leadership roles, including Chief of Operations & Program Support, Management and Program Analyst, Senior Disclosure Specialist, and Senior Stakeholder Relationship Manager. In these positions, Maritza has been responsible for governance, developing and administering compliance programs, providing technical guidance on Disclosure/Privacy matters, and fostering community partnerships for free income tax preparation services for vulnerable populations in Connecticut. Additionally, Maritza serves as a Governing School Board Member for Monrovia Unified School District since December 2018. Maritza holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Southwestern College.
