Doug Ranck is an experienced pastor and youth ministry consultant currently serving as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Pastoral Care at the Free Methodist Church of Santa Barbara since August 2022. Ranck has been involved with the Institute of Collective Trauma and Growth as a Senior Advisor of Youth Ministry since 2014 and has held the position of Lead Consultant/Project Manager at Ministry Architects since July 2010, providing consulting services for churches and their youth ministries. Additionally, Ranck contributes to Interlinc as a member of the WriteGroup, focusing on music-based Bible study curriculum development. With a long tenure at the Free Methodist Church of N. America dating back to 1979, Ranck has also held various roles within the Free Methodist Church of Santa Barbara, including Associate Pastor of Youth, Children, and Families. Ranck served on the Young Life Committee from 2008 to 2017, overseeing ministry operations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry/Recreation from Greenville University.
