G. Joseph Moroney is a highly experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Interius BioTherapeutics since December 2021, after previously holding the position of Senior Scientist. Prior to this role, G. Joseph Moroney worked at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. from October 2019 to November 2021 as a Senior MS&T Upstream Process Engineer and earlier as an MS&T Upstream Process Engineer. Additional experience includes a role as a Bio-Process Development Scientist at Merck from April 2016 to October 2019, and a Biopharmaceutical Technology Co-op at GSK in 2016. Early career experience includes an internship focused on energy and sustainability at Johnson & Johnson in 2013. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Bioengineering, both obtained from Penn State University, and an educational foundation from La Salle College High School.
