Michael Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commodity trading and asset management. Currently serving as a Senior Commodity Trader at Interfood Group since April 2016, Michael manages a diverse trading portfolio that includes Nonfat Dry Milk, Butter, and Sweet Whey Powder, among other dairy products. Previously, Michael worked as an Asset Manager at KeyBank Real Estate Capital, where responsibilities included underwriting loan transactions and managing a substantial portfolio of non-performing structured debt. Early in the career, Michael gained experience as a Commodity Trader at Neumann Kaffee Gruppe, focusing on specialty coffee sales and logistics. Michael's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, where graduation was achieved with Magna Cum Laude honors, as well as completion of a study abroad program at Maastricht University.
