Gustavs Cirulis has extensive work experience in product design and management. Gustavs is currently working at Intercom as a Senior Principal Product Designer, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at Intercom as a Principal Product Designer and a Senior Product Designer, where they led the design of various products and projects, including Product Tours, Intercom's Messenger 4, and developer tools for the App Ecosystem. Gustavs also served as a Design Manager, overseeing and mentoring product designers, and establishing design principles and processes.

Before joining Intercom, Gustavs co-founded Regular and worked as a Co-founder & Product Designer, creating and launching apps such as Inboard and Later. Gustavs also worked at Printful as a UI/UX Designer, focusing on print management and the marketing website. Additionally, they worked at StartupVitamins as a UI/UX & Graphic Designer, designing the online store and posters. Early in their career, Gustavs worked at Draugiem.lv as a UI/UX Designer, where they performed a complete redesign of their app.

Before their professional experience in product design, Gustavs worked as a Web Designer & Developer at 2xElliott, as a Freelance Web Designer & Developer, and at e950 as a Web Designer & Developer.

From 2006 to 2010, Gustavs Cirulis attended the Riga School of Arts and Crafts, focusing on web design. It is not specified if they obtained a degree during this time.
