Justin Belk is an experienced traffic operations engineer currently managing the Region Traffic Operations program at the Washington State Department of Transportation since December 2018, overseeing workforce management, safety reviews, and traffic data analysis. Previously served as an Integrated Corridor Operations Engineer, developing statewide policies for traffic management centers and signal operations, and has held various positions with Intercity Transit, including Community Representative and Vice Chair of the Transit Authority Board. Earlier roles include Transportation Engineer at the City of Tacoma, Civil/Transportation Engineer at Mackenzie, and internships at several engineering firms and city governments, building a strong foundation in traffic engineering and analysis. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
