Chris Wisniewski has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, they worked at Intercept Pharmaceuticals as a Product Development Manager starting from June 2019. Prior to that, they spent five years at Gilead Sciences as a Senior Research Associate II, where they led the implementation and development of glycan assays and collaborated with Hamilton and Waters on an automated N-Glycan kit.
Before their time at Gilead Sciences, Chris worked at Prometheus as a Development Associate 2 for two years. There, they used LIHA and ELISA systems to develop and improve diagnostic assays, performed HPLC analysis, and produced control standards and conjugates.
Chris also had short stints at Vical, Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Gen Probe, Polypeptide Laboratory Group, and Catalent, where they held roles such as Research Associate 2, Process Development Chemist, QC Chemist II, and Associate Scientist, respectively. In these positions, they gained experience in various research and production techniques, including testing, method development, purification, and analysis.
At the start of their career, Chris worked at The University of Arizona as a Lab Manager and Research Assistant, where they focused on working with Rotifers and utilized PCR and DNA isolation for phylogenetic analysis.
Chris Wisniewski attended the University of Arizona from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
