Michael Gaisford

Michael Gaisford has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael has held leadership positions and achieved notable accomplishments throughout their career.

In 1999, Gaisford started as a Business Analyst at Miadora. Michael then joined McKinsey & Company in 2000 as a Business Analyst, where they contributed to the redesign of marketing and operations strategies for a leading retailer, identifying $10M in profit opportunities.

In 2002, Gaisford became a Strategy Associate at CVS/pharmacy. Here, they provided key input and analyses for the corporate strategic plan, evaluating financial and strategic acquisition targets and developing business plans for entering adjacent industries.

Gaisford interned as an MBA Intern at Genentech in 2005, formulating strategies to overcome physician's office barriers to adoption of a biologic drug and performing primary market research.

From 2006 to 2007, they worked as an Associate at Health Advances, leading teams and providing strategic advice to healthcare clients.

Gaisford joined Boston Scientific in 2007, starting as a Senior Manager in the Productivity Office. Michael supported business development efforts, maintained business continuity during acquisitions and divestitures, and managed corporate restructuring programs. Michael also served as a Group Marketing Manager and Senior Product Manager in the Electrophysiology division, overseeing marketing strategies, product development, and sales tools.

In 2015, Gaisford joined Stratasys as the Director of Marketing for Healthcare Solutions. Michael led global marketing initiatives, launched medical-focused campaigns, and developed go-to-market strategies for hospitals and medical device manufacturers. Michael also served as the Director of Marketing for Medical Solutions, where they redefined vertical-specific marketing and launched medical-focused marketing initiatives.

Currently, Gaisford is the CEO of Intera Oncology Inc. In this role, they lead a growth-stage medical device company focused on a drug-device combination therapy for stage 4 colorectal cancer. Michael successfully led the FDA approval process and played a key role in establishing a new company to commercialize their product line.

Throughout their career, Gaisford has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic expertise in various industries, particularly in the healthcare and medical device sectors.

Michael Gaisford completed their high school education at Conestoga High School in an unknown year. Following that, they attended Stanford University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Later, they pursued further education at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth from 2004 to 2006, earning an MBA.
