Melissa DiPane-Longo is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, media relations, and corporate communications. Currently serving as Manager of Global Media Relations at Intelsat since April 2020, Melissa executes strategic PR initiatives, enhances media engagement, and manages both internal and external communication teams. Prior roles include interim Director of Corporate Communications at Lockheed Martin, where Melissa coordinated corporate earnings communications and developed newsworthy content for major outlets, and freelance journalist positions at WJLA-TV and WDCW50. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Throughout a diverse career, Melissa has demonstrated expertise in crisis communication, executive media training, and multimedia storytelling, contributing significantly to the reputation and visibility of the organizations Melissa has represented.
