Steve Margetts has extensive experience in software development and research within the technology and medical sectors. Currently, as the Head of R&D in the Clinical Division at Intelligent Ultrasound since January 2019, Steve leads initiatives to enhance ultrasound software and simulation technologies for leading medical institutions. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Medaphor Limited, Cofounder at Keima Limited, and Senior Software Developer at Actix and ComOpt AB, where Steve contributed to significant developments, including the industry's first automatic cell planning solution. Steve also served as an Assistant Lecturer at Cardiff University, educating students in various computer science topics. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Cardiff University and an MEng in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
