Scott Baird is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the fuel cell industry, currently serving as Lead Project Engineer at Intelligent Energy since October 2001. In this role, Scott oversees complete engineering deliverables, safety assessments, and performance predictions, leading a team of engineers in mechanical, electrical, and software tasks. Scott has successfully completed significant projects, including the production of 100kW fuel cell test stations and vehicle integration of 60kW fuel cell systems. Previous positions include leadership roles in software and controls engineering, where Scott expanded a team from 2 to 10 engineers and developed an asset management system for data analysis, and roles focused on research and development aimed at improving fuel cell technology and control systems. Scott holds a PhD in Computational Modelling of Fuel Cells and a BEng in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University.
