Rodolphe Barrangou is a distinguished academic and industry leader currently serving on the Board of Directors at Ki Tua Fund and as the T. R. Klaenhammer Distinguished Professor at North Carolina State University since February 2013. Barrangou has held significant editorial responsibilities as Editor in Chief of The CRISPR Journal since November 2017, and co-founded several biotechnology firms, including Intellia Therapeutics, Inc., and Ancilia Biosciences, where Barrangou currently holds the position of Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer. With a rich history in advancing food science and biotechnology, Barrangou has been involved in scientific advisory roles at Invaio Sciences and Inari since 2018. Barrangou's educational background includes a PhD in Functional Genomics and MS degrees in Food Science and Biological Engineering, complemented by an Executive MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business.
