Clay Thomas has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Clay currently works at Integris as a Data Center Engineer IV since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at CalTech for 12 years starting in 2011. At CalTech, they held various roles including Datacenter Engineer IV where they assisted with the design and implementation of a multi-site hosting and disaster recovery environment. Clay also designed a VMWare migration plan and coordinated customer environment migrations. Before working at CalTech, Clay worked at Life Partners, Inc. as a Network Administrator from 2006 to 2011, where they provided technical and training support to users across multiple sites. Their earlier experience includes working at U.S. Tech as a Sales, Training, and Network Technician from 2001 to 2006.

Clay Thomas earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with minors in Management and Physics from Angelo State University from 1996 to 2001. Clay then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems at Texas A&M University–Central Texas from 2008 to 2010.
