Vidhya Padmanabhan has a diverse range of work experience. Vidhya started their career as a Summer Intern at SMS Pharmaceutical in 2006. In 2008, they interned at Century Rayon before joining Accenture as a Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Analyst, where they worked until 2013. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Business Intelligence Analyst at UF Enterprise Systems and as a Student Assistant at University of Florida - Psychology Department. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Business Analyst-Data Management at World Fuel Services before becoming a Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida. Vidhya Padmanabhan's education history starts in 2004 when they enrolled at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani-Goa Campus. Vidhya completed their Bachelor's of Engineering (Hons) in Chemical Engineering in 2008.

In 2014, Vidhya pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Systems and Operational Management from Hough Graduate School of Business, University of Florida. Vidhya completed their degree in 2015.
