Tom Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. In 2005, they served as the President, Treasurer, and Vice-President of RedTech Sound Production Company, where they increased funding for capital purchases and reduced costs to the University. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Summer Intern at Legal Aid of Western Michigan, where they conducted client interviews and reviewed contracts. In 2010, they worked as a Business Strategy Consultant at Northrop Grumman Corporation, performing financial and market analysis for new product development. Tom also served as a Research Assistant at the College of William and Mary during the same year. In 2011, Tom joined Applied Process Technology International as an Intern, where they developed strategies for pursuing advanced biofuel startups. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Apex Tool Group, LLC in various roles, including Senior Financial Analyst and Director of Operations. Tom'sresponsibilities included financial planning, analysis, and operational management. Tom then joined Ameritox in 2016 as the Director of Finance and Operations, overseeing strategic projects and managing new product initiatives. From 2018 to 2022, Tom worked at OTT HydroMet, where they held positions such as Senior Controller and Senior Sales Controller. Tom'sresponsibilities included cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, and improving customer outcomes. Currently, in 2022, they are the Danaher Business Systems Lead at Integrated DNA Technologies.
Tom Ryan (He/Him) earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University in 2005, with a double major in Communication and History. Tom then went on to pursue an MBA from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business, completing it in 2011.
