Matthew Hickman has a diverse work experience. In 2015, they worked as a Janitor for Knox Blount Maintenance Inc, performing general cleaning responsibilities for banks, call centers, schools, and offices. After 90 days, they were given the opportunity to be the sole cleaner of (3) doctors offices and filled in as needed at other locations if other employees were absent. In 2016, they began working for Integracon Technologies, LLC as an Intern, where they learned tools and platforms used for managing customers and attended training lessons with the help desk manager and CTO. Matthew then moved to a Help Desk Technician role, where they worked underneath the help desk manager performing tickets submitted to the help desk ticketing system. After that, they became a TAC Manager, managing a team of help desk technicians daily and providing second hand support to the CTO. Finally, they are currently a Jr. Network Engineer, working alongside the CTO on network setups, troubleshooting, and maintenance and providing periodic oversight of the help desk/help desk manager.
Matthew Hickman obtained their High School Diploma from L N STEM Academy between 2011 and 2015. Matthew then attended Pellissippi State Community College from 2014 to 2016, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. In December 2015, they received a Certificate in A+ Networking + Certificate Preperation from Pellissippi State Community College. In May 2022, they obtained a VMWare Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization 2022 from VMware, and in August 2022 they received a CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ from CompTIA.
