Alicia Hesse-Cleary has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alicia began their career in 1990 as an Account Coordinator at Database Marketing Corporation. From 1994 to 1996, they worked as a Marketing Manager and Market Development Consultant at TV Asia, where they oversaw the production of on-air advertising campaigns and conducted market assessments.

In 1999, Alicia joined Private Equity Managers, Inc. as a Director of Business Development & Marketing. Alicia led business development initiatives and conducted research and financial modeling for target investment sectors.

From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Senior Consultant for World Congress, collaborating with international leaders to design and execute an economic development project in organic floriculture.

In 2010, Alicia joined Arts2You as a Strategy & Program Management, where they led business strategy and financial planning for education services. Alicia also collaborated with college counseling and tutoring companies to provide arts coaching for college prep.

Alicia Hesse-Cleary then worked as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern at Mount Auburn Hospital, where they delivered counseling services and designed therapy groups for geriatric psychiatric patients.

From 2020 to 2023, they served as the Director of College Health Initiatives at Christie Campus Health, leading government sector activity and educating policy-makers about evidence-based practices in college health.

Currently, Alicia holds the role of Director of Clinical Outreach at InStride Health, a position they have held since 2023.

Alicia Hesse-Cleary completed their bachelor's degree at Connecticut College from 1986 to 1990. Alicia majored in Fine Arts. Alicia then pursued their master's degree in Community and Economic Development at Cornell University from 1996 to 1998. In addition, they also obtained a master's degree in Development Economics and International Development from Cornell University during the same time. Currently, Alicia is a candidate for a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy at Lesley University, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022.
