Manuel E. Valenzuela Cruz is a seasoned professional with significant expertise in technology and project management. Currently serving as the CTO and Corporate Director of IT & Cybersecurity at Coral Hospitality Corp. since February 2023, Manuel is responsible for developing the company's technology strategy to enhance business objectives while ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and security. With over two decades of experience at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, Manuel contributes as a professor in various capacities, including leading project management courses based on the PMBOK methodology. Previously, as Manager of Cloud Systems and Managed Services at Claro RD, Manuel spearheaded the development of cloud computing technologies aligned with the company's strategic goals. Additionally, Manuel has extensive educational qualifications, including an EDp from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's in Operations Management from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. As the General Director of the Cementerio Open Tennis Tournament, Manuel supports quality events for veteran players, promoting sportsmanship and community engagement.
