Tânia Ferreira

Tânia Ferreira is a Scientific Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações, having joined in November 2020, where work includes developing an advanced Mesh Wi-Fi solution under the POWER project in collaboration with Altice Labs, and improving the reliability and resilience of a millimeter-wave backhaul network as part of the SNOB-5G project. Previously, Tânia contributed to Chipless RFID research, focusing on frequency behavior modeling of "Gap Coupled Spirals." In addition to research roles, Tânia has actively engaged in educational initiatives as a member of the Pedagogical Section at Núcleo de Estudantes de Eng. Eletrónica e Telecomunicações and participated in a summer innovation project at CRITICAL Software. Tânia holds a Master's degree in Integrated Master in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro, earned between 2016 and 2021.
