Dahimar Mercedes Sanchez Medina is an experienced project manager with a strong background in research and development, currently serving as Gestora de Proyectos I+D+i at Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) since November 2023, where responsibilities include managing the Severo Ochoa accreditation. Previous roles include project management at Redborder and IAC, focusing on the enhancement of scientific and technical infrastructures for the Canary Observatories, as well as extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management at Rhenus Logistics, GOLD FIELDS, and CEMEX. Dahimar holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Engineering in Industrial Electromechanics from Universidad de La Laguna and an MBA in Logistics and Transportation from Universidad Camilo José Cela, alongside a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
