Rachel Coffman is a seasoned public relations professional with extensive experience in governmental affairs, reputation management, community relations, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as the IPR Elevate member at the Institute for Public Relations since July 2023, Rachel also holds the position of President at Coffman Collaborative LLC, a firm established in September 2021 that aims to support Appalachian businesses across various sectors. Rachel's leadership experience includes serving as the President of the PRSA West Virginia Chapter from 2020 to 2022, where efforts were focused on supporting public relations professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles include Vice President and partner at TSG Consulting, LLC, where over 12 years were dedicated to public relations and governmental affairs projects, alongside early career roles at American Electric Power. Rachel's education includes a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from Marshall University, an MBA from the University of Charleston, and a Graduate Certification from The London School of Economics, complemented by a recent program in Sustainability from MIT Professional Education.
