Greta Langhenry

Programs Specialist at Institute for Humane Studies

Greta Langhenry is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, and baseball officiating. Currently serving as a Programs Specialist at the Institute for Humane Studies, Greta collaborates with Program Managers to execute a range of impactful events. As a co-founder and president of Level Ump, Inc., Greta advocates for underrepresented groups in professional baseball umpiring. Additionally, volunteering as an instructor for the Wounded Warrior Umpire Academy reflects Greta's commitment to supporting wounded service members. Previous roles include Umpire Development Observer and Administrator in Umpire Operations with Major League Baseball, alongside various marketing and management positions at the Cato Institute and Langhenry Consulting, LLC. Greta is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and is trained as a baseball umpire through The Harry Wendelstedt School for Umpires.
