Annabel Short is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community-building, human rights, and environmental strategies. Currently serving as Principal at It’s Material and a Board Member at Home.Earth, Annabel also leads the Youth Journalism Project at the Centre for Sport and Human Rights, focusing on teenage journalists in North America. As a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Advisor at the Institute for Human Rights and Business, Annabel provides strategic guidance on initiatives related to the built environment and climate action. Annabel has a solid background in research and communications from previous roles at ALIGN and the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, along with freelance journalism experience.
