Laura Ferrando-Climent is an Associate Professor at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University, involved in the Water Research group and the Master program "Smart Vannteknologi" since May 2023. Currently serving as a member of the National Reference Group for Horizon Europe - Cluster 6 at Norges forskningsråd since July 2022, Ferrando-Climent has held various roles at the Institute for Energy Technology since February 2015, including Senior Scientist Group Lead and Specialist group manager, focusing on environmental science and project management. With a background in analytical chemistry, Ferrando-Climent's experience includes significant research on organic micropollutants at NIVA and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Universitat de Girona. Additional roles include Technical Director at Axati Flaires Cosmetics, Lead of Quality Control at Medichem, and prior teaching positions at Universitat de Girona and University of Valencia. Degrees include a PhD and a Master's in Chromatographic Techniques from Universitat de Girona and a Bachelor's from the University of Valencia.
