Nadia Riera is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in structural biology and microbiology. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay and a Postdoctoral Scholar at Institut Pasteur de Montevideo, Nadia has previously conducted postdoctoral research at Caltech. Education includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Cell Sciences from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Microbiology from Universidad de la República. Notable research activities involve bioinformatic analysis of soil and microbial communities, as well as studies on pathogenic bacteria-plant interactions. Additionally, Nadia has hands-on experience in microbiological techniques and has engaged in public outreach through science center tours.
