Raphael Danino-Perraud, PhD, is an esteemed researcher and educator currently serving as an associated researcher at both the Institut de recherche stratégique de l'Ecole militaire and Ifri - Institut français des relations internationales since January 2022. As an instructor at CentraleSupélec, Raphael leads sessions on the geopolitics of resources, focusing on various critical topics. Raphael holds the position of commissioned officer at the Ministère des Armées and has a background as a doctoral researcher at the Laboratoire d'Économie d'Orléans and the Bureau des Ressources Géologiques et Minières, where research centered on the economics of critical minerals, specifically cobalt. Prior experience includes roles as a parliamentary collaborator and project manager.
