Michelle George is a doctoral candidate at the Institut du Cerveau – Paris Brain Institute, focusing on the effects of music and sound on sleep under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Andrillon. Previously, Michelle served as a visiting researcher in the Consciousness and Cognition Lab at the University of Cambridge and worked as a graduate student research assistant at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where experience included transcranial magnetic stimulation and electroencephalography. In earlier roles at Ashoka University, Michelle contributed to faculty affairs management and taught courses on statistical thinking. Michelle's academic background includes a PhD in Cognitive Science from Sorbonne University, an MSc in Neurocognitive Psychology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and a Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
