Florian Fallegger is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut de la Vision since January 2023, and previously served as Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder as well as Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at Neurosoft Bioelectronics from January 2020. With a robust background in stretchable electronics for neural prosthetics, Florian obtained a PhD in Microengineering from EPFL between 2016 and 2020. Prior experiences include internships and project roles at prominent institutions such as PARC Inc., ETH Zurich, IBM Switzerland, and Northwestern University, focusing on various aspects of materials science and engineering. Academic qualifications consist of a Master's in Materials Science from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's in Materials Engineering from EPFL.
