John Bridgeman

Director Of Cell Therapy Research at Instil Bio

John Bridgeman has extensive experience in cell therapy research. John started their career as a Research Associate at The University of Manchester in 2008, where they focused on studying the signaling of Chimeric Antigen Receptors in T-cells. After two years, they joined Cardiff University as a Research Fellow, where they helped establish the T-cell modulation group's lentiviral transfer technologies and conducted various projects on T-cell function in disease settings. In 2014, John became the Director of Cell Therapy Research at Instil Bio, Immetacyte Ltd., and Cellular Therapeutics Ltd., where they contributed to the advancement of cell therapy research. John'srole included overseeing research projects and utilizing their expertise in T-cell biology.

John Bridgeman completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they attained a Master of Science (MSc) in Parasitology & Vector Biology from the Universities of Salford, Manchester & Keele, spanning the years 2002 to 2003. John started their educational journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological Science from The University of Salford from 1999 to 2002. Before entering university, they attended South Trafford College from 1996 to 1999. John'seducation began at Broadoak High School, where they completed their high school education from 1991 to 1996.
