James Chamberlain has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. James started their career as a Security Risk Analysis Tutor at Penn State University in 2010. From there, they worked as an IT Contractor at The Enosys Group, focusing on verification and validation of mobile devices and applications. In 2011, they also worked as an English Teacher at Bazanowski English Studio and completed an internship at AIESEC United States.

In 2012, James joined Lehigh Valley Health Network as an Information Technology Specialist, where they provided system support and maintenance, SQL database querying, and user management.
