Carlos E. Rivas is an experienced legal professional specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and corporate law. Currently serving as the Director & Associate General Counsel for M&A at Instacart since February 2022, Carlos has previously held significant positions at Intel Corporation, including Director, Senior Managing Counsel, and Site Counsel for Intel Costa Rica. Other notable roles include Senior Corporate Counsel at Ariosa Diagnostics and Corporate Counsel for SEPHORA. Carlos began their legal career at Baker & McKenzie as a Law Clerk in the Tax Department and has extensive experience from firms like DLA Piper LLP and White & Case LLP.
