Jassi Saurio is a seasoned legal professional specializing in privacy and security law, currently serving as a Senior Privacy and Security Lawyer at Insta since October 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Officer at the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman and a position as Trainee Judge at the District Court of Helsinki. Additionally, Jassi Saurio worked for the Ministry of Justice in Finland as a Senior Specialist in Data Protection and as an EU Law Adviser. Previous legal training includes roles at Bird & Bird and the Court of Justice of the European Union, alongside earlier experience as a trainee counsel and a bank clerk. Jassi Saurio holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Turku, with additional studies in International Law at Universitas Udayana.
