Assistant Director Of Finance at Inspire

Christine Magill has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Christine is currently the Assistant Director of Finance at Inspire since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Group Financial Controller - Inspire Wellbeing from January 2022 to August 2022. Christine worked at Ocorian from September 2014 to October 2021, holding the position of Senior Manager FCA. Their role involved financial accounting and reporting for private equity FTSE 250 companies, attending board and audit committee meetings, and consulting with management on accounting queries. Before that, they were an Analyst - Renewables at Northern Ireland Electricity in 2013, where they prepared financial models, management accounts, and provided detailed analysis for renewable projects. From November 2011 to December 2012, Christine worked as a Finance & Risk Manager at Commerzbank AG, responsible for financial control oversight, group reporting, and risk reporting. Prior to that, they were a Compliance Executive/Manager at the Irish Stock Exchange from September 2010 to October 2011, where they reviewed annual reports and interim financial statements and dealt with listing/trading applications. Christine started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Assistant Manager - Audit & Assurance, working with various investment funds and fund structures from 2006 to 2010. Christine also gained experience as a Junior Management Accountant at UTV Media plc from October 2003 to July 2004.

Christine Magill obtained a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2012. In 2018, they pursued a Diploma in Compliance, LCOI at University College Dublin. Christine also holds a degree in BSc Finance from Queen's University Belfast, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Christine Magill is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, achieving the FCA designation from Chartered Accountants Ireland.
