Joseph Ippolito is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on embedded software and systems engineering within the medical device industry. Currently serving as Embedded Software Engineering Manager at Inspire Medical Systems since April 2022, Joseph previously held various roles at Medtronic from May 2015 to March 2022, including Engineering Manager for Mechanical Circulatory Support and Principal Systems Engineer, where leadership was demonstrated in the development of next-generation external VAD controllers. Prior to this, Joseph's career included positions as Senior System Engineer and Systems Engineer Contractor, as well as Graduate Student at The University of Minnesota Twin Cities, earning a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin.
