Shishay Bisrat is an experienced data science professional and geologist with a strong background in both data analysis and geosciences. Currently serving as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science since 2019, Shishay specializes in natural language processing and machine learning to enhance workplace culture through employee survey data analysis. As an Independent Contractor and Pore Pressure Geologist at Berger Geosciences, LLC since 2018, Shishay focuses on pore pressure monitoring and optimization of drilling parameters for oil and gas wells. Previous roles include data science project work on criminal recidivism prediction and geological analysis at Berger Geosciences and The University of Memphis, where Shishay obtained a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology. Additional education includes a Data Science certificate from Springboard.
