E. Tolga Akgoz has worked in various roles since 2003. E. Tolga began their career as a Programmer at GATE Elektronik, where they developed controllers and hardware interfaces for instrumental helicopter simulators, as well as the instructor console. In 2006, they began working as a Freelance Web Developer, developing websites for clients in Turkey and the USA. In 2007, they Co-Founded Kekolabs LLC, where they led the development and design of a complex Facebook Application named Groupsplus. In 2013, they became a User Interface Developer at Cloud Nine, a leading digital agency in Sweden, where they built responsive web sites and single page apps and maintained Google App Engine applications built using Java & Python. In 2015, they joined Itclarifies AB as a Full Stack Web Developer and Partner, where they were responsible for leading all the frontend development and building the marketing web site. In 2016, they took on a Tech Lead role (Contract Work) at Class Curious, an online e-commerce platform for course sellers and students, where their responsibilities included designing and developing technical architecture, hiring designers for visual & UX design, and hiring and managing remote developers. Finally, in 2010, they Co-Founded Insider Monkey, a finance website that provides free insider trading and hedge fund data. As the technical lead and co-founder, they developed and maintained the whole Insider Monkey site by himself from its foundation in 2010 to the point where they built their own tech team in 2013. In 2017, the website amassed 23m+ users and 110m+ pageviews.
E. Tolga Akgoz obtained a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Orta DoÄŸu Teknik Ãœniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 2001 and 2006. E. Tolga then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from Uppsala University between 2010 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, E. Tolga Akgoz has also obtained various certifications, including a Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform Specialization from Coursera in 2020, a Computer Vision Nanodegree from Udacity in 2018, and a Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in 2018.
