Nick C. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2010 when they provided short and long term substitute assignments for various high schools in the Katy, Texas area. In 2011, they worked as a G&G Technical Analyst for Landmark Graphics, providing technical support for various interpretation software applications used by geologists and geophysicists in E&P. In 2012, they worked as a Technical Systems Analyst for Nexen Inc., supporting Landmark technical systems across the U.S. division. From 2013 to 2015, they held the role of Application Support Geoscientist at Resolution Energy Services and Geoscience Technician at Independence Resources Management. In 2015, they also worked as a Subsurface Computing Application Analyst for Hess Corporation, providing in-house maintenance and support of all G&G vendor applications and supporting infrastructure. From 2019 to 2020, Nick C. worked as a Senior Integration Consultant for GeoComputing Group LLC and Senior Development Geologic Database Technician for Nesco Resource. Currently, they are a Solutions Architect for ComboCurve, Inc.

Nick C. began their educational journey in 2004 at Tarrant County College, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS). In 2006, they transferred to Sam Houston State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology in 2010. During their time at SHSU, they also took classes at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
