Doug Willits has over 12 years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry. Doug began their career in 2005 as an Engineering Intern at Mewbourne Oil Co. In 2007, they worked as a Reservoir Engineer Intern at SandRidge Energy and also interned for Congressman Frank D. Lucas at the United States Capitol in Washington D.C. Doug then returned to Mewbourne Oil Co. as a Reservoir Engineer Intern. In 2009, they became a Field Engineer/Reservoir Engineer at Chesapeake Energy. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Reservoir Engineer at Pinnacle Energy Services. In 2015, they moved to Redbud Energy Consulting, LLC as a Reservoir Engineer. In 2018, they became an Account Manager at NUTECH. Most recently, in 2021, they joined ComboCurve as a Customer Success Engineering Manager, Customer Success Engineering Advisor, and Customer Success Executive.

Doug Willits earned a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma between 2004 and 2009.
