Mirte Coumans currently serves as the Manager Claims & Services at InShared since June 2021 and has been a member of the Directie since April 2023, overseeing all customer contact teams including Selfservice Support Desk and Customer Service Deutschland. Previously, Mirte held the role of Manager Claims at InShared, responsible for three claims teams focused on material and injury claims. Prior to InShared, Mirte worked at Achmea from December 2016 to June 2021 as Manager Juridische Zaken, leading legal advisors and attorneys, and from June 2010 to July 2016 as Manager Change, managing business analysts, Lean experts, and project leaders. Early career experience includes roles at Fortis Bank and an internship at Philips Medical Systems. Mirte holds multiple Master of Science degrees in Business/Managerial Economics from Maastricht University and additional educational experience at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Edinburgh.
