Mirna Marovic is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and management, currently serving as Managing Director at VentureXchange since July 2010. As President of both the INSEAD Alumni Association Croatia & Slovenia and CVCA since 2017 and 2005 respectively, Mirna leads initiatives to promote private equity and venture capital investment in Croatia and the surrounding region. Additionally, Mirna holds the position of President at TMA Croatia and previously lectured at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management until 2017. With a background that includes serving as Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and roles at Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas, and Credit Agricole Indosuez, Mirna has developed a robust skill set in corporate restructuring and structured finance. Mirna holds an MBA from INSEAD and a PhD in Financial Management focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital from the University of Ljubljana, alongside other prestigious qualifications in finance and sustainable business strategy.
