William MacArthur currently serves as the Director of Threat Intelligence at InQuest.net, a position held since May 2019. Prior to this role, William was the Threat Research & Intelligence Lead at InQuest.net and held the position of Lead Threat Intelligence Analyst / Detection Engineer at Fishtech Group from December 2017 to April 2019. William's experience also includes a tenure as a Threat Intelligence Analyst at RiskIQ from August 2014 to October 2017 and a core member of the CSIRT Response Team at GoDaddy.com from February 2007 to July 2014. Throughout these roles, William has specialized in threat detection, analysis, and the development of intelligence feeds, working closely with real-world networks and the information security community to combat various cyber threats.
