Niklas Kluger's work experience includes being the Founder & Chief Operations Officer at Inplanet since July 2021. In this role, they focus on sequestering CO2 and regenerating tropical soils through the use of natural rock powders. Prior to Inplanet, they were a PM Afforestation at Associação ProBrasil from April 2020 to July 2021. Niklas also worked as a Working Student at Chargery from March 2020 to January 2021 and as a Working Student in Business Strategy at IOTA Foundation from October 2019 to January 2020. From January 2019 to October 2019, they were a Global Crop Operations Specialist at INFARM, where they handled various responsibilities including maintenance coordination and reporting of company KPIs. Niklas also served as a Service Desk Manager and Maintenance Specialist at INFARM in 2018. Before that, they worked as an Operations Assistant at discandooo from October 2017 to January 2018 and as a Working Student at eeMobility GmbH from April 2017 to September 2017. Additionally, they gained experience as an Intern at Instituto National de Resíduos - INRE in 2016, where they compared electronic waste recycling systems in Europe and Brazil. In 2015, they interned at Green Advocacy Ghana, where they contributed to the development of a waste recycling facility and urban development plans in Agbogbloshie.

Niklas Kluger's education history is as follows:

From 2022 to 2022, Niklas Kluger attended the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" for an Exchange Semester in Soil Science.

From 2019 to 2021, they studied at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Integrated Natural Resource Management.

Between 2014 and 2017, Niklas Kluger attended the Technical University of Munich, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Umweltingenieurswesen.

In 2014-2015, they also completed a program at the Social Entrepreneurship Akademie, earning a Certificate of Social Innovations.

During 2013-2014, Niklas Kluger studied at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in TUM BWL.

Their secondary education took place at Theodor-Fliedner-Gymnasium Düsseldorf from 2003 to 2012, where they obtained an Abitur degree.
