Kayla Bergman is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in conservation and sustainability initiatives. Currently serving as the Sustainability Lead at Innovative Ag Services since January 2023, Bergman also holds the position of Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioner for Story County, Iowa, since June 2020, where responsibilities include promoting conservation practices and managing district programs. Previous roles include Policy Manager and Senior Policy Associate at the Center for Rural Affairs, as well as Watersheds & Waterways Program Coordinator at Prairie Rivers of Iowa RC&D, where coordination of conservation efforts in the Squaw Creek Watershed was a key focus. Additional internships in various organizations, including the Iowa State University Extension & Outreach and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, further demonstrate a commitment to environmental education and outreach. Bergman earned a BS in Animal Ecology/Environmental Studies from Iowa State University in 2016.
