Sebastien Chapleau serves as a Fellow at the Chartered College of Teaching since May 2024 and holds multiple leadership roles at Citizens UK, including Assistant Director, Lead Organiser & Head of Schools Organising, and Headteacher in Residence since September 2020. Additionally, Sebastien is a Member of the Innovative Citizen Participation Network at OECD since May 2022 and a Senior Associate at Innovation Unit since February 2020. Managing educational initiatives as Executive Headteacher at Gesher School from August 2020 to September 2022, Sebastien was also Director at Whole Education from March 2020 to August 2021, and engaged with Ambition School Leadership as an NPQML Facilitator, Programme Mentor, and Workshop Facilitator from September 2014 to August 2021. As the Founding Headteacher of La Fontaine Academy from November 2013 to December 2019, Sebastien's academic qualifications include an Executive Education degree in Leadership, Organizing and Action from Harvard Kennedy School, a Doctor of Philosophy in English and Education from Cardiff University, a PGCE from the University of Greenwich, and degrees in English Studies from Université de Tours.
