James Rinaldi is an experienced executive in the technology sector, currently serving as the Executive Director and Board Member at Innovate@UCLA since July 2020, representing the organization within the Southern California technology community. Rinaldi also plays a key role on the Executive Committee of the Avasant Distinguished Fellowship Program and is a founding team member at Immortal, a company focused on creating advanced platforms for enterprise applications. Additional advisory roles include contributions to MORI Associates, Phenomenati, and Pandoblox, alongside serving as an Innovation for Large Organizations Fellow. Previously, Rinaldi held significant positions, including Chief Information Technology Advisor at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and CIO at both NASA and the FDA. Rinaldi's educational background includes studies at the University of North Florida from 1975 to 1980.
