Aaron Legge has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Aaron began their career in 2005 as a Facilities Coordinator at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, where they were responsible for coordinating rental of museum facilities for various events. In 2007, they joined Heritage Explorers as an Operations Manager, focusing on hands-on learning techniques and creating memorable educational programs. From 2010 to 2013, Aaron worked at Sports & Entertainment Atlantic as a Manager of Event Services, providing sponsorship marketing support to sport, entertainment, and charitable properties. In 2013, they joined The Chronicle Herald as a Senior Manager in Herald Events and later became the General Manager of Headline Promotions. From 2015 to 2019, Aaron worked at STI Technologies Limited, first as a Program Manager, then as a Product Manager, and finally as a Senior Manager of Solutions Design. In these roles, they played a key role in delivering financial reimbursement, patient engagement, and patient management solutions in the healthcare industry. Most recently, Aaron joined Innovasea in 2019 as a Product Manager, and later became the Group Product Manager, where they managed the lifecycle of global fish tracking products and engaged with customers to refine and develop new offerings.

Aaron Legge has a diverse educational background. In 2022, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. In 2019, Aaron completed a Credential of Readiness program in Accounting and Business/Management at Harvard Business School Online. In 2011, they earned a Certificate in Project Management for the Project Associate from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University. Prior to that, Aaron pursued higher education at Dalhousie University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in History and Political Science.
