Nils Koch is a dedicated research intern at Innodem Neurosciences, specializing in computational neuroscience since May 2023. Currently pursuing a PhD in Integrated Program in Neuroscience at McGill University, Nils investigates ion channels' role in neuronal dynamics under the guidance of Dr. Anmar Khadra. Previous experience includes research assistant roles at University of Tuebingen and Max Planck Institutes Tübingen, focusing on neuronal behavior and chemosensory modulation in zebrafish. Nils holds a Master of Science in Neural & Behavioural Sciences from University of Tübingen and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Neuroscience from University of Alberta, where initial work involved optogenetics and respiratory control.
