Essence Spencer is an experienced program coordinator with a strong background in educational and cultural initiatives. Currently serving as a Program Coordinator at Inneract Project since June 2022, Essence previously held the position of Fellow at 10,000 Degrees from July 2020 to June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Student Program Coordinator at the African American Resource and Cultural Center from November 2016 to August 2020, and as a Facilitator at Facilitators for Racial and Ethnic Diversity from March 2018 to June 2020. Additionally, Essence worked as an ALAS Project Research and Policy Support Intern at the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents in late 2019. Essence completed a Bachelor's degree in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 2020.
