Alex Thompson is an experienced professional with a strong background in educational partnerships and program development. Currently serving as the Districts Partnerships Manager for Inner Explorer since February 2024, Alex focuses on supporting mental health and well-being in educational settings. Previously held the position of Vice President of School Partnerships at Thinking Cup Learning from April 2017 to February 2024, where significant revenue growth was achieved through the development of online programming and strategic partner cultivation. Alex also worked at Chess At Three as a Regional Manager, Tournament Director, and Teacher, specializing in early childhood chess education. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Flying Director at ZFX Inc, providing sales solutions and project management within the theatre industry. Alex holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts from PennWest Clarion.
