Sharon Hoyer is a skilled professional with a diverse background in management, writing, and the arts. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at the Inner-city Muslim Action Network since August 2020, Sharon has previously held roles such as Project Manager and Strategic Initiatives Associate. With extensive freelance experience as an independent writer since 2003, Sharon has contributed to various online and print publications, including the Chicago Reader and the Chicago Sun-Times, focusing on arts and culture, news, transportation, and the environment. As the Dance Editor at Newcity Magazine since 2007, Sharon has also produced and hosted the radio show "Means of Production" on Lumpen Radio, highlighting Chicago's dance and performing arts scene. Prior experience includes directorship at High Concept Laboratories NFP and general management at Dill Pickle Food Co-op. Sharon holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Northwestern University and Madonna University.
